Walton’s proven track record

Walton has been established since 1981, and has been involved in utility reinstatement for over 20 years. During that time, we have worked for clients of all sizes, including the national and international businesses shown in the list below. When clients such as these come back time and again, it’s a sure sign that we’re doing our job correctly.

Clancy Docwra

Walton have been carrying out utility reinstatement for The Clancy Group since the late 1990s on various contracts along the South Coast, Home Counties and the South West.

Walton now principally carries out large carriageway reinstatement, which arise from consequential damage caused by mains water bursts on Clancy’s contract with various water companies.  A quick turn around on these works is crucial to ensure that inconvenience to the public is kept to a minimum and roads are reopened as soon as possible.

Gigaclear

Gigaclear brought in Walton to rectify their defects in the South West, these range from high profile jobs requiring planing and reinstating to civils works completing drain repairs.

Envolve Infrastructure

Walton have been working for Envolve (previously Lewis) since the early 2000s, mainly on projects for Wessex Water, Bristol Water and as they have grown various projects across the South of the UK.

Morrison Utility Services 

Walton began working for Morrison Utility Services in early 2000 on the former Transco South West LDZ in Bristol and Wiltshire. Due to the success of our relationship, we were asked to carry out backfill and reinstatement on the Transco South LDZ.In addition to this Walton have carried out reinstatement on various projects for Morrison Utility services and also for the Morrison Galiford Try joint venture.  Majority of the works are on Morrison contracts with water companies relating to the installation of mains water pipes.

Wales & West Utilities

Walton were successful in winning the reinstatement works direct for WWU for both core and non core works in Devon, Somerset and parts of Wiltshire.  Contract is a 3year agreement with a 2 year agreed extension.  Works include all asphalt and civils works across these areas.

Kier Integrated Utility Services

Working throughout Western Power Distribution Area B which covers, Devon, Somerset, North Somerset, BANES, Bristol City and South Glos.

Two work streams of Fault and planned projects where we carry out surface reinstatement only for Kier.

Walton have also carried out projects for Kier on their contracts with City Fibre, Virgin Media, BT and Environment Agency.

O’Connor Utility Services

Walton carried out works for their former subsidiary Instalcom on large electric projects in Didcot, Swindon and Bracknell.  We continue to carry out large project works across the south of the country on electric and fibre contracts.

Trant

Walton have carried out reinstatement for over 15 years, currently working on their project in Porton Down for the MOD.

Express Utilities

Walton have worked for Express Utilities for over 5 years, in the last few years along with completing their asphalt reinstatement we have backfilled and completed civils works on many of their projects across the South of the UK.

CSW Process Ltd

Walton currently carries out the reinstatement works on the large district heating carbon-neutral energy schemes which CSW are carrying out in Bristol and London.  Hopefully more to come in the areas Walton cover.
